Hey all, I'm new to this tribe and I just moved to Portland, but I've already found a bar to call home. It's perfect, it's within walking distance so I can stumble home (don't have to worry about a DUI), it's cheap ($1.50 PBR pints) there's pool, and lots of interesting/shady characters. Where is this fine establishment you ask? Well it's the Glisan St. Pub (it's on Glisan near NE 80th). But they have one thing that's not very consistant with your traditional dive, an internet juke box, just to give it that special touch of class! Since I've been here, I've also visited to The Low Brow Lounge (which seems like a cool hang-out). It's got Dive potential, but it's a little to trendy to be a total dive. Although the tot's and mini corn dogs FUCKIN' ROCK (the perfect drunk munchies). Anyway I plan to frequent the Glisan St. Pub as long as I live in the neighborhood so if you drop in for a beer, and you see me at the bar, come by and say Hi, and maybe but me a beer for turning you on to it.
